Get your hearts checked, folks. Especially if you’re over 40. Throw in a colonoscopy while you’re at it. Don’t be stupid and die from a disease that’s preventable and treatable if you catch it in time.
If you’re overweight, now is the perfect time to get healthy. If you’re sedentary, now is the perfect time to get active. If you’re an addict, now is the perfect time to get clean.
And if you’re aimless and feel like something is missing in your life, now is the perfect time to accept Christ.
Why did Massie lose tonight?
Massie went from principled libertarian during COVID, to GOP leadership lapdog under McCarthy, to anti-Trump Epstein obsessive in 2025 after tweeting about that issue a whopping three (3) times in the decade prior. The nail in the coffin for him was voting against OBBB in 2025 because, according to Massie, it did too much to secure the border.
Trump mercilessly trashed Massie in 2020–calling him a “disaster” for America and Kentucky and saying he should be thrown out of the GOP entirely—but Massie easily swatted that away and won 81-19, so you can’t say he only lost because of Trump. He went toe-to-toe with Trump on COVID in 2020 and won overwhelmingly.
Massie lost because he went from being perceived as a quirky but lovable nerd who seemed to genuinely believe everything he said, to looking like a clout-chasing influencer who cared more about getting TV time with Democrats on an issue he clearly never cared about until five minutes ago than he did about representing his voters.
We’ll never know what caused the apparent personality change—maybe it was the death of his wife, maybe it was the McCarthy race followed by McCarthy’s ouster, or maybe it was a desire for notoriety or media acclaim and a lucrative podcasting career outside of Congress—but the drastic change was undeniable, as was the seeming lack of interest in much of anything happening in Kentucky.
Blame Trump, blame Israel, blame Epstein, blame the tragic death of a spouse, I don’t care. But you cannot just wave away 2020 Massie going face-to-face with the Trump machine and winning in a rout only to get smoked six years later.
Massie’s voters didn’t really change all that much, but he did, and they noticed.
When both programs hired new coaches a couple years ago it was obvious Pat Kelsey and Mark Pope would not only be judged by their own program standards and expectations, but also compared directly to one another.
Almost immediately both fan bases felt pretty good about their hires- year one for both coaches brought fun moments and a decent launching point, even if neither season ultimately met program expectations.
Both coaches then went to work on upgrading their rosters for year two. Pat Kelsey showed he could land five-star talent and make real splashes in the portal, while Pope appeared to put together one of the deeper teams in college basketball.
But neither second season met expectations (for a variety of reasons). In fact, both were a bit of a step back from year one, which I don’t think many people expected.
Now, heading into a make-or-break year three for both coaches and both programs the contrast is becoming glaring.
One coach continues to underwhelm while turning a proud program into something of a punchline behind the scenes. The other attacked the portal like his job depended on it and made it clear his only goal was to build the most talented roster possible.
UK fans have spent so much time comparing Pope to Cal, but Pope is getting outworked by more than just Arkansas. I'm not sure there's a rival where UK is currently in a better position.
Louisville fans are excited about the upcoming season. Kentucky fans are stuck in a near-constant state of frustration and meltdown.
Pat Kelsey was ready for the portal and the year three offseason. Mark Pope wasn't, and that's a major issue for Kentucky.
Remember, Swalwell had an army of Democrat enablers: Congress buddies, donors, lib media allies, senior Hill staffers who looked the other way- all knew. They pretend now it's such a shock- but while slimy Swalwell was chirping at Trump, they didn't care what else he did
@RepThomasMassie@Rothbard1776 You are my representative, and I sure wish you would focus your priorities on issues that truly affect your constituents, not a Democratic smear
campaign
Enforcing immigration law in Minneapolis is more important now than ever. Trump must double down, triple down, whatever it takes-
Democrats think they can subvert Trump's single most important policy by throwing a tantrum
They must be proven wrong
@RepThomasMassie@bennyjohnson As one of your constituents (Prospect, KY), wondering what the difference would be if a Democrat were the representative for my district?
Roger Federer broke the internet with one statistic that will change how you see every setback in your life.
1,526 singles matches.
Won almost 80% of them.
20 Grand Slams. 103 titles.
Now answer honestly:
What percentage of total points do you think he won across his entire career?
70%? 65%? 60%?
Try … 54%.
He lost literally almost EVERY SECOND POINT he ever played for 24 years.
And still became one of the greatest of all time.
Watch him explain it himself (2:07 of pure life-changing wisdom):
“In tennis, perfection is impossible… When you lose every second point on average, you teach yourself to say:
‘Okay, I double-faulted — it’s only one point.’
‘Okay I got passed at the net — it’s only one point.’
Even a screaming overhead smash that ends up on SportsCenter Top 10… still just one point.
So when you’re playing your point, it has to be the most important thing in the world.
The moment it’s over — it’s behind you.
That mindset frees you to attack the next point, and the next, and the next with absolute intensity and clarity.”
Then he looked at the crowd and said the line that hit a billion people in the soul:
“The real sign of a champion is not that they win every point.
It’s that they lose again and again and again… and have learned how to deal with it.
Negative energy is wasted energy.
Cry it out if you have to. Then force a smile.
Move on. Be relentless. Adapt. Grow.
Work harder — and work smarter.”
Save this post.
The next time you lose a deal, bomb a presentation, get ghosted, miss a deadline, or just have “one of those days” — come back here and read it again.
You’re not falling behind.
You’re just in the 46%.
And the 46% is exactly where every single legend has spent most of their career.
Keep playing the next point.

Letting Mark Stoops go was the right decision and it wasn’t easy for Mitch to do for reasons we will talk about
But I also do want to salute Stoops for a job well done for the majority of his time. He won more than anyone else here since Bear Bryant
With Lane Kiffin officially leaving Ole Miss for LSU, he’s about to burn down college football and prove that the NIL is completely BROKEN with this yearly $25 million dollars he’s about to get to spend on players
