@HestonRussell@QldGov @AnnastaciaMP Don’t get me started - arriving into BNE - no one to check if I (or anyone else) had complied with the rules of entering QLD. Why impose a set of rules and then not to do the appropriate checks and balances? Doesn’t this make a complete mockery of the system?
@brisbanetimes The issue I had arriving into BNE airport - no one in sight to check if I (or anyone else) had complied with the rules of entering QLD. Why impose a set of rules and then not to do the appropriate checks and balances? Doesn’t this make a complete mockery of the system? #qldpol
@smh@abcsydney - McDonald's, Hungry Jacks and Subway are registered to accept the NSW Dine Out vouchers - I don't exactly see them as struggling businesses. #nswpol

As 26 January approaches, this day seems to stir up a range of complex emotions and strong feelings for many, if not all, of us. For me, it reminds me of the importance of truth telling, and its critical role to the ongoing process of healing and reconciliation in Australia.

Wherever you sit in the debate, I ask you to reflect, and consider what this day means to you and those around you. To me, are we really celebrating what it means to be Australian? Or is it just another day to acknowledge our colonial ties?
