Again with this author tearing my heart out :/
Although this genre of historical fiction is very upsetting, I always feel happy that I was able to experience these kind of stories (fictional or not).

I tell myself I love fantasy books, then I read a book like this and regret even picking it up. There is something about this story that makes me want to continue the series, but as of right now, I am not a fan.

This is EVERY romance trope that I absolutely love put into one book. I cannot get over the banter between the MFC & MMC 🫣. You know I love a book when it’s YA and rate it so high.

I will say this a dozen more times if I have to - THIS AUTHOR DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING - she will tear your heart out with every story she writes. Gosh her books are just too good.

I am not a huge fan of dark romance, so I can’t really tell if this was good or not?! My only big complaint: WHY IS THIS BOOK SO LONG. I genuinely just got tired of reading it before I got to the end.

This is a great dark romance book for starters! I’ve barely dabbled in this genre, but I am glad to say this one was not as cringey as I thought it would be. And there is actually a story line that I didn’t hate 🤷♀️

It took me too long to read this book. The beginning is too slow :/ but the ending had me conflicted. Maybe if I had a better sibling dynamic in real life, I would have appreciated this book more.

If I would have read this when I was in Middle or High school, it would have been game over lol. I genuinely enjoyed this book & not to be cliche, but it reminds me of the way I used to be & how far I’ve grown
