...but because every one of these issues is full of great stories by a fantastic bunch of authors, and I consider it a privilege to have my name listed alongside theirs in these pages.

I got my contributor copy of the latest issue of The Cellar Door from @darkpenpress and I'm definitely looking forward to reading through the rest of these stories. And you should too!
I saw a little kid standing on the peak of a roof wearing a huge motorcycle helmet. Glad to see the true spirit of childhood hasn't completely abandoned us.
@Not_Algernon An important part of childhood is the whole-ass belief that you're indestructible. Just casually flirting with disaster, but filled with wonder. I mean, how will you know you can't fly if you don't jump off the roof at least once? And then do it again, but holy shit it was fun.
One of the stories in this book features a nightmare in which a giant spider lays eggs in a guy's mouth, and of course I read that one right before bed, and of course I dreamed about spiders all goddamn night.
Solid horror experience, no notes.
"I don't need a new book, but the book store is on the way back to my car. I'll stop in for a bit, maybe just say hi to the store cat," I said, ever the fool.
The time change hits me harder with each passing year. Physically, it is not dark yet, but it feels like it is. Emotionally, it is already dark. Spiritually, it is dark.
Friends! It's time to join me in the swamp.
