For the final week of the year, the children at SRS primary have being using a variety of apps. Some for coding, some for creating and some classes used the iPads to create projects for STEAM week. A great year of digital work! #SRSDigital

This week in Year 6 we have been using our iPads to read our new class novel "Shackleton's Journey". Teachers added voice notes to allow inclusivity for our lower readers. #SRSDigital @trudlebug @mthomas2010

This week, in Year 5, the classes have been revising and practicing their times tables using blooket and kahoot. Great apps which now provide analysis of scores once quizzes have been finished. #SRSDigital @trudlebug @mthomas2010

In Year 4 this week, we have been learning how to code. We had to choose the instructions and prepare them to complete missions. We used 'move forward', 'move left' and 'move right' instructions. #SRSDigital @mthomas2010 @trudlebug @srsdubai1

This week, Year 3 have utilized the iPads so that our end of year assessments could be completed. The iPad has given us great flexibility to complete important assessments form our classrooms. #SRSDigital @MrClark47 @mthomas2010 @SRSInfants

This week, Year 2 have been exploring the camera and collaborating on how to take the best pictures, using @BookCreatorApp. It took us some practice to get that perfect picture for our book covers! #SRSDigital @MrClark47 @SRSInfants @mthomas2010

In Year 1 this week we continue to use the app Scratch, and we have been exploring different algorithms that include making our characters put the basketball in the net. #SRSDigital @MrClark47 @mthomas2010 @SRSInfants

This week across FS, the children have been using the Playdoh app to collaborate and retell their stories. Also the children have been programming the bee-bots to follow the arrows to reach the Gruffalo. #SRSDigital @MrClark47 @mthomas2010

In Year 6, we have been using the iPads to revise and complete our GL assessments. A great device which has made the assessment process flexible and easy to setup. #SRSDigital @trudlebug @mthomas2010

This week in year 5, the children have been using sketches to create China themed designs as they build on their prior knowledge. They looked at shading and use of contrasting colors.

In FS1 and FS2 this week, the children have been using the iPads to support their phonics and they’ve also used the playboy AR app to create the gruffalo and bring him to virtual life! #SRSDigital @mthomas2010 @SRSInfants

This week, in Year 5, we have been writing our narratives. We have used keynotes to create, edit and share word mats, wagolls, checklist and much more. A great collaborative experience to maximize writing outcomes. #SRSDigital @trudlebug @mthomas2010

This week, Year 4 have used both @Kahoot and booklet to revisit and consolidate previous learning. The children were fully engaged and enjoyed collaborating answers and ideas together. #SRSDigital @trudlebug @mthomas2010
