@andydurrant75 I was passed out at Northampton. I had your Dad for rules on the Monday and traction on the Tuesday. Train handling was on the Wednesday with a different inspector.

I was told on the Friday that I was being passed out on the Monday with your father. I didn’t know him but I think I was told he was from the Midland region. Back then Footplate Inspectors were very respected. I was scared stiff of your Dad. 😂😂
