@arielgilreath 🤣 You’re a great speller. ⭐️ Thank you for the updates!

[Shayla Rivera @SRivera0212]

@adamdovico Google Drawing, Jamboard, Flipgrid have all been great so far.

@latimes To the people who literally won the lottery by being born in the US and wouldn’t take a $13.15/hr job cleaning hotel rooms for the homeless during a pandemic and have taken this opportunity to, yet again, say that immigrants take jobs from citizens, please get better information.

[Shayla Rivera @SRivera0212]

@latimes How are there so many people commenting on this that “her time is up.” This woman has nothing to return to in Mexico. She’s been here working for 20 years! She has 4 children here. And apparently, MOST IMPORTANTLY, she has attempted to stay here LEGALLY the entire time.

@JoAnneB28335065 @DonorsChoose @MasterLockUS They warmed my heart. 💜💜💜

[Shayla Rivera @SRivera0212]

I saw students in REAL LIFE! I’m so thankful I was able to give my students books, hygiene items, activities, art materials, and snacks thanks to @DonorsChoose! Also, THANK YOU @MasterLockUS for donating combination locks for the ENTIRE 5th grade to practice before middle school!

Team meeting with @anna_henson and @hepner_lauren 💜💜💜 Quarantine is so much better with these faces! #monaviewmoments

[Shayla Rivera @SRivera0212]

So happy I got to see these faces today. I miss them all so much. Listening to them talk about how bored they are and how much they miss being in class was heartwarming. And I thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of their pets! #MonaviewMoments

[Shayla Rivera @SRivera0212]

@ERICAMROLDAN We use the same textbooks- so if those pages are blank she can tear them out and bring them in! 😍 if not- she can answer on notebook paper.

[Shayla Rivera @SRivera0212]

Monaview Lions-We are ready for you to come pick up your packets and Chromebooks today! I miss you already! I’ll be posting additional updates and videos in Google Classroom, too! Message me with additional things you want to see- maybe a daily read aloud or a novel study?

[Shayla Rivera @SRivera0212]

@ERICAMROLDAN All of the science and social studies assignments are in the textbooks- she can write in the textbooks and bring in the pages when we return! 😊 Students do not need their class notebooks for elearning. Hopefully that helps!
