He’s a very good player no disrespect at all but in transitions from attack to defence he tends to be slow. At the same time, when possession is won, he’s often the one who slows the tempo, which affects the team’s rhythm.

@BouafifNour Eric brings much-needed stability, positional discipline, and strong defensive coverage at the base, while Frenkie can operate more like a No.8 carrying the ball, progressing play, and breaking lines. If they balance those roles well, this pivot can definitely work today.
