Chief Minister Vijay has already made a visible impact on the functioning of the government. Corruption appears to have reduced in several public-oriented departments such as the RTO and the Registration Department, though, not yet in TNEB.
Yesterday, I visited the Elite TASMAC outlet at Phoenix Mall to buy some beer. In the past, I had often argued with the staff for charging ₹20–₹50 above the printed price on each bottle. This time, to my surprise, I was charged exactly the MRP. WoW 🤩
If the public has a helpline to report corruption to the DVAC, there should also be a transparent mechanism to file complaints against elected representatives. Accountability should apply to everyone not just government employees.
Another important challenge is the bureaucracy. Many officers appointed or promoted during the previous government still occupy the first and second levels of the administrative hierarchy. They are used to extra constitutional privileges and difficult to digest the change; no bureaucracy is completely free from institutional or political influence. The focus should not be only on IAS and IPS officers; every department has honest, capable and principled officials who have consistently upheld the rule of law and remained neutral. Identifying such people and placing them in key positions will be crucial for lasting administrative reform.
Real change is not just about changing the government; it is about changing the system that runs it.

@annamalai_k Your decision to quit #BJP is fully justified. Under the BJP, governance at the Centre has slipped into misrule and its administration into maladministration. Name one concrete action taken against all the persons who faced the wrath of the #ED, whether #EVVelu, #KNNehru, #SenthilBalaji, #AnithaRadhakrishnan, the list is endless. Foreign policy is both in tune with the direction the world is moving in and education is in an absolute mess, from #NEET to the language policy and now the grant of “Deemed University Status” to medical colleges owned by a #DMK MLA. The economy, under #NirmalaSitharaman has hit rock bottom. But I still stay with the BJP for the #Hindutva ideology alone.

I’m planning to buy the Windsor EV Pro (52.9 kWh). In the past, there were reports of DC fast-charging sessions disconnecting within seconds on certain public networks. I would like to request
the owners now running the latest BMS/battery software update to tell me if DC fast charging is working reliably on public chargers (Jio-bp, Zeon, Statiq, etc.), or do sessions still drop or fail to start? Honest real-world experience would help me a lot before I decide.
