Scotland’s oldest Staffie charity - run by dedicated volunteers. Rescuing & rehoming Staffies all over Scotland since 1973 💙 Our ambassador: @RPD2025STELLA
🚨We have a very exciting announcement to make…
We are delighted to share the news that we have appointed Stella the Staffie as the official ambassador for SSBTR! 🐾
We look forward to working with Stella in spreading awareness of the SSBTR and our mission. 🤍
This gorgeous boy is Junior. He needs a home, and at 12 years old, he’s potentially looking at spending the rest of his life in kennels, and it’s not fair. He LOVES people, and is ok walking past dogs on walks but shouldn’t be rehomed with other dogs.

Traditionally, a #SkylightTakeover normally includes fluffy photos of colleagues' pets. But we're taking it to the next level. Four of our team are trustees of/volunteer for @SSBTRescue & they're fostering some insanely cute staffies ...who also need homes (take the hint)
Beautiful little Maggie is in need of her forever home.
She was found tied to a fence. We know very little about her and though she was chipped, it’s not registered so we don’t even have an age for her though she is on the younger side. 🧵
She’s an excitable girlie so will ideally be rehomed with older children. She can’t be rehomed with cats or other dogs - all of this will need work. She’s going to need considerable time to decompress when she gets her home and will need lots of love and attention.
Now for the must-know stuff: Maggie cannot be rehomed in the Fife area but anywhere else in Scotland is possible. We will cover costs for behaviourist if she needs it but she seems to be quite well balanced under the circumstances.
As you can see from her photo, someone clearly has cropped her ears 🤬. She is definitely mostly a staffie and has all the traits but the ears can give a poor impression of her. Any real bulldog lover already knows not to judge a book by it’s cover.
On #StaffieSaturday I’m re sharing this photo from a few months ago! To find out more please watch or set to record #CrimeWatchLive on Friday 6th October at 10am BBC1 @BBCCrimewatch 🐾🐾
