A large crowd marched to the Alrode area today, handing over memorandums of demands to various businesses.

The group from Thokoza protested at businesses employing unemployed foreign nationals.

The march, escorted by EMPD and SAPS members, started at Sam Ntuli Stadium and caused major traffic disruptions on Kumalo, Hospital, Lesotho and Bosworth roads.

The crowd dispersed peacefully.
