SSGC does it again!
We are proud to announce a $970,900 verdict secured in the Circuit Court for Talbot County, Maryland, on behalf of a 76-year-old client who suffered permanent injuries following a negligent failure to diagnose and treat a stomach perforation during hernia surgery.
This marks our firm's second consecutive substantial plaintiff's verdict. Gloria Worch, who led the case alongside James "Jim" Cardea, said it best: "It is gratifying to help our client and his family to be able to move forward and rebuild their lives despite suffering permanent injuries as a result of obvious medical negligence."
As Jim added, the team takes great pride in winning what they believe to be "one of the largest, if not the largest, medical malpractice verdicts in Talbot County history."
The dedication of Gloria and Jim to their client and his family reflects the mission that has driven Schochor, Staton, Goldberg and Cardea, P.A. since 1984.
When negligence causes permanent, life-altering harm, victims deserve a voice, and accountability.
