A key support offered by #humanitarian sector in #SouthSudan is #treatment and #vaccination of livestock, this is due to inaccessibility, knowledge and price implications.
In 2019 SSGID supported the treatment and vaccination of over 5,600 cattle, shoats and poultry.

Through support of @FAOSouthSudan in 2019, SSGID was able to facilitate over 14 Million SSP into the economy of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State-Awiel West County through seed vendors which is key supporting resilience. #SSGID#SSOT#Economy#SouthSudan
Empowerment of local market structures is a key sustainable approach to building resilience.
SSGID Supported 26 vendors in Mariam West, Gomjuer East and Ayat West who were trained and engaged in ITF modalities. They were key in seed supply to community members. #SSOT#monday
Program Implementation committees (PIUs) ensure program quality is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Key stakeholders we involve are RRC, CADs, women Rep, Chiefs, Govt. Representatives among others.
Through the support of FAO and SNV in 2016 SSGID reached more than 600 households in #SouthSudan through mordern farminig methods and input distribution to transform the lives of the small scale farmers.

To ensure sustainability, SSGID works with community volonteers, build their capacity and equip them to ensure project sustainability long after the project has come to an end. #SSOT#Youth
