Where youโll know this werey they lie is that:
1. They donโt call vulcanizer to goat, an average butcher in Ibadan can easily use his mouth.
2. He couldnโt have told him that itโs a cultural thing, itโs just another way of skinning goats.
๐๐
So today I hired someone to butcher one of my goats.
I specifically told him to roast the goat before skinning it. This man instead went to call a vulcanizer to pump the deรฆd goat. He then proceeded to using soapy water on my goat before skinning it.
I was so furious and asked him why he didn't do as I instructed him.
He told me that in his place in Yoruba land, they pump their ram and goats and then use soapy water to skin them.
Oga, do I look Yoruba to you? I told you to roast it before skinning.
We Igbo people roast ours before skinning it. It gives the meat that goat scent when cooking it.
I won't pay him his complete money.
@elmezu1972@fattylincorn_01 They took it off during the last election, we saw how yall were weeping and crying marginalization and tribalism. Innocent people even lost their lives in the process but here youโre asking for more.
โ Femi Ote$$
Dangote built the largest industrial empire in Africa. Tony Elumelu is arguably the continent's most influential banker-investor. Abdulsamad Rabiu has quietly built one of Africa's most successful manufacturing groups.
But Otedola offers something slightly different: he has demonstrated an exceptional ability to create, lose, preserve, and recreate wealth across different economic cycles.
Within one week, you would likely learn more about capital allocation, timing, risk management, and strategic exits from Otedola than from almost anyone else in Nigeria. He built Forte Oil, exited at a premium, moved heavily into the power sector through Geregu, and has repeatedly shown an ability to identify opportunities before they become obvious to the wider market.
He is also arguably the most accessible case study in wealth visibility. Unlike many billionaires who operate largely behind the scenes, Otedola's investments, lifestyle, relationships, philanthropy, and boardroom decisions are often in the public eye, making it easier to understand not just how he makes money, but how he thinks about money.
If your goal is to learn how to build businesses, Dangote may be the answer. If your goal is institution-building, Elumelu is compelling. If your goal is manufacturing scale, Rabiu is hard to beat.
But if your goal is understanding wealth creation, wealth preservation, strategic exits, and reinvention, Femi Otedola is a very defensible choice.
*In Oka Akoko, Ondo State, indigenous hunters rounded up Fulani bandits, who were armed with AK47 guns. The crowd didn't allow people to know the details. But they couldn't move again with their okadas. Oluode chanted ofo on them. Details later. Agbekoya is back!!*
The Fulani that sl@ughtered Mr Micheal Oyedokun was part of the Fulani that was caught by hunters in Imesi-Ile.

It was a great honour and privilege to have flown with His Excellency, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. We had a quick conversation on politics and what the future holds for dear our nation. A distinguished elderstatesman whose love for a functioning country transcends selfish political interests.
One day, in a not too far future, I hope to see him lead this country.
