@crikipidea @ashwinravi99 @prasannalara If bowler needs to inform umpire about switch bowling arm then why didn't batsman inform before . I know it sounds stupid 😹
But maximum rules are in batsman's favour.

@crikipidea @ashwinravi99 @prasannalara People got my question wrong I'm trying to say about matchups. Off break bowler to lefties and left arm to right handers. I see batsman rotate strike to avoid matchups.
If Steve Smith on strike Ashwin to turn into left orthodox.

It went further ahead and he turned into a right handed batsman for freehit against a right arm bowler. If this is legal for Batsman then why can't bowlers switch there bowling arm according to matchups
