Cambodia has NEVER wanted war. Our country has been through enough wars (genocide even) already. We want nothing more than peace. So why would we start an attack after the ceasefire agreement? We have nothing to gain from it.

Adding more to this case, Cambodia claimed Thai aggression, while Thailand insisted its forces acted in self-defense.

Cambodia then took the case to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), regarding the dispute over the border.
