June 23rd 2020 saw an increase in the number of migrant passengers heading to their respective hometowns from Delhi! With the support of our volunteers, @AkshayaPatra & the donors we were able to end the day with a successful food distribution at the Old Delhi station

Distribution at Old Delhi station on June 18, 2020 saw an increase in the number of migrant passengers going back home. But thanks to the continuous support of @AkshayaPatra and the volunteers and donors, we were able to complete the distribution comfortably!#servingtheshramiks

June 16th #servingtheshramiks distribution was also extended to Thane station, with a last minute shramik passenger train annouced ( to control overcrowding and chaos ) This was alongside distribution at the Old Delhi station at the centre & CSMT station in Mumbai @AkshayaPatra

We got a last minute call for distribution at Borivali station, Mumbai, for the train onwards to Gorakhpur. This was successful completed along with CSMT & LTT stations, Mumbai & the Old Delhi station at the centre. Kudos to the support from volunteers & donors!@AkshayaPatra

While Day 4 was busy in Mumbai, the #servingtheshramiks team got a request from #tatasteelfoundation for help in Ahmedabad with food kits for passengers travelling to Ranchi. With the help of @AkshayaPatra team, food kits were organised for around 2000 passengers!

Day 4 on June 8th was an action packed day with distribution happening at the CSMT station, LTT station and the Bandra terminus. Thanks to the support & help from @AkshayaPatra ,all our volunteers, railway officials, & donors for contributing to another successful distribution
