@andrew_wiebe Haha, biggest pet peeve in the game! There is contact on those though. Also you know just as much or more than me with how long you’ve covered the game so don’t sell yourself short.

@andrew_wiebe That’s fair. Location shouldn’t matter, but we all know that’s not the case.
Both can have a similar impact of a yellow card, which changes the way a player plays for the rest of the game and also can have a dramatic impact if they pick up another yellow.

@andrew_wiebe They do embellish and play resumes all the time, but the question is, should it? If there’s no real consequence, then why would players stop doing it?

@andrew_wiebe Don’t disagree with that at all. Can’t stand that so many subjective calls being reviewed, sometimes backtracking significantly like the Egypt game.
However, the casual fan (which you are not) wants driving out of the game and then complains that it gets called. Just can’t win

I’m all for non contact simulation being carded. Regardless of circumstance.

@DMAC_19 This was 100% a foul and it would have put them up 2-0 at the time.

While I agree I don’t like going back to the start of a play to find any foul that could have been committed, there are poor calls, flopping, etc. in all sports. Best teams/players find a way to overcome that.

Toured a building this week in Topeka, KS. Originally built as part of an Army Air Field in the 1940s, it transitioned to civilian industrial use in the 1970s and is still fully operational.
