ICYMI - Part 6 of my epic RPG Review / Game Diary for the Traveller campaign Secrets of the Ancients is up.
This adventure spans 8,000 years, employing special rules for PCs using high technology and unconstrained by time or mortality.
It's also hilarious.

@TheNagaraen A feel for the game? As in Traveller or the Secrets of the Ancients campaign?
Traveller is pretty much every type of scifi.
SotA is an epic adventure that starts small and ends huge. It's got murder mystery, prison break, 1950s War of the Worlds, & more.

T-minus 40 minutes until our Traveller campaign begins. Prep is done. Antsy waiting begins.
It is fortuitous chance that today is the 46th anniversary of the game's release.
Today, 19 months later, we officially ended the Secrets of the Ancients campaign.
It was hands-down the most epic campaign we have ever attempted and the whole thing ended as nail-biting exciting as I could have possibly hoped.
Picture from yesterday (taken by the 'New Guy'). Jorge brought his mostly-painted Lab Ship model he printed, which is like 1,000x more awesome in-person.
Also our new metal bullet-shaped D6 for use as Inspiration Token for Traveller (3 are visible on the left side of the table).
And because it's been mentioned a couple times now, the song playing behind Jack during the outro was this Scott Brown Incident song a fan made a few years back. It's pretty catchy.

@Hanno69381105 A Called Shot to the limb is -8 (too much, if you ask me) so Half Cover is -4. More than half cover you Call Shot the exposed head or arm.
If you score a crit to a part that was behind cover, either re-roll the crit location or get creative on how that injury occured
@figuredisfondo Damn. I'd actually forgotten that line. I'm rather impressed with my past self for writing it. Thank you.
No one person in particular inspired him. I wanted him to be a wholesome and wise mentor for Kate to remember from better times, like a magical Mr. Rogers
@HanginOut1985@dungeoncraft The GM needs to have given them enough info to prompt a decision first. Something like what they're looking for, even if it's just a glass of water.
If they're always freezing from Analysis Paralysis because they're afraid of choosing wrong, then a discussion of why is the best
New RPG Video is up. Today we're talking about TTRPG Reviews โ the different kinds of reviews, what makes a good one, and my own review policy
