Can we have a middle ground between Americans who are helpless without their Dodge RAM Toddler Crusher TM for buying 70 kg of meat in one shop and the ones who only know how to door dash every single meal?
@cezthesocialist Americans are generally the most food-illiterate people on the planet. And I say that after growing up in The Netherlands and having had plenty of white-bread-and-chocolate-sprinkles sandwiches.
@4InFlames@girl_judah@Lthierry_______@Bornakang All of these ingredients can be used in other meals. You just make your burger and then use the rest for something else sometime in the rest of the week.
@XyloJW@TalkingSword@Captain_C2@alisha_hg A mile wouldn't even be a 40 minute walk in a place where you don't constantly have to wait for pedestrian crossings. More like 20 minutes.
@theistinthought When I lived in a walkable city, I never needed more than 1 bag of groceries because I could do the shopping on the way back from work by just nipping into the shop for 5 minutes.
@Studio42Audio@Mjomba_75@sahouraxo@ErseFelina If you want to play that game: the scriptures literally tell the story of how the Israelites show up and kick out the people living there before.
@policywishes@DutchRojas Honestly I think good mayo is probably healthier than ketchup. Ketchup contains a crazy amount of sugar, which is worse than the egg and vegetable oil in mayo.
@but_cyclists I don't even think the speed at the start of the vid here is necessarily the issue. It's wanting to do a momentum overtake at a junction that's the real issue. That was absolutely a moment where he should've slowed down and just wait.
