Ingredients
3/4 cup whole wheat flourβ¨1/4 cup all-purpose flour, plus extra for rollingβ¨1/4 cup oat flourβ¨1 eggβ¨1/4 cup waterβ¨1 tablespoon honeyΒ β¨1/2 cup xylitol-free, dog-safe peanut butter of choice
Directions:
1In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, and oat flour.
2In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, water, and honey. Mix in the peanut butter until combined.
3Add the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly until dough forms. The dough is a little dry at first, but you can use your hands to bring it together into a ball.
4On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to ΒΌ-inch thick with a rolling pin.
5Cut treats out using a cookie cutter of your choice. The dog bone-shaped kinds are great!
6Place cut treats on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper, being sure to give each ample space to bake.
7Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
8Let cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 4 weeks.
