STAY results were recently disseminated in an open hybrid meeting on sulfur amino acids and metabolic health hosted by the University of Oxford. The seminar included talks from Amany Elshorbagy, @KVinknes, Viktor Kozich, @ElenaC_Tore & Thomas Olsen from @STAY_JPI ++ @JPI_HDHL
Results from the STAY trial with dietary sulfur amino acid restriction is now available as a preprint on medrXiv: https://t.co/aTLbPq9WSs

@KVinknes and @tho_ols spent a couple of days at the Dept. of Pharmacology, University of Oxford discussing data and new collaborations in the STAY project. Exciting projects to come! @JPI_HDHL@NutritionUiO
Researchers in the ๐ณ๐ด & ๐จ๐ฟ branches of STAY have contributed to a paper on methionine and cysteine-specific effects in sulfur amino acid restriction led by @snichenametla and published in @AgingCell.
The first original study from our consortium has been published in European Journal of Nutrition on plasma sulfur amino acids and body fat depots in two independent Dutch cohorts. Thanks to Dr. Elena Tore for all her hard work! A thread with more info below ๐
Two years into the project and we could finally meet at @NutritionUiO! We have been discussing tons of generated data and socializing, and look forward to the next phase of communicating our results on sulfur amino acids and metabolic health in humans. @KVinknes@l_retterst
