This is the new book cover I made. The yellow and green representing Usain Bolt. The shadow of the shoe representing Ghost’s nickname, how he ran from his father, the fact that he runs track and the two people he is inside: angry and normal.
Week 4,Q8A: He felt proud, special and he felt stronger and better. He felt needed and a sense of belonging to the Defenders, he also felt more in control of his life.
Question 10: ‘Don’t Judge a Book by it’s Cover’ is probably the theme. I enjoyed it because it was very interesting, I also give it a 9 out of 10 because of the cliffhanger ending!
Q2 Week 3
Ghost earned his team mates respect by wearing fancy shoes. To be a good runner, you have to stretch properly, fuel yourself, have good technique and be persitant and dedicated to running.
Question 8, ‘What Caused Ghost To Finally Snap?’
Ghost was tired of Brandon (the bully) to bully him and others about where he lived, that his mother worked in the hospital cafeteria and how poor he is and his clothing are far too big for him so I guess he snapped.
QUESTION 9: Ghost put Coach in a difficult situation because it was against the law to be someone else’s Uncle so that meant kidnapping. If I was Coach Brody I would have ignored the phone call, because either way he would be in trouble .
Q-10 What do you think Ghost means when he tells Coach, “I guess the only other person I’m really scared of is me?” What do you think is going to happen next?
Ghost can‘t control his emotions and how he acts. Coach might teach him what to do??
Q8: What caused Ghost to finally snap was when Brandon was rude about his home and appearance, Ghost snapped by punching Brandon in the face and throwing chocolate milk at him! Brandon picked on a lot of people and ghost was sick and tired of it and that is why he did that.
