this film nearly killed me.

every roadblock, i had to brute-force through it. tested again and again.

a singular song inspired this film…it kicked everything off for me. after two years of fighting to get the license, things became bleak. REJECTION.

was it all for nothing……? this was the last thing i needed…but also the first…FULL CIRCLE.

i almost gave up, but i did a last-minute hail mary. and it fucking worked.

in a matter of days, i will be submitting the film to its final destination(s). it will be out of my hands for good. you all will get to see and i will finally be FREE.

our family is absolutely devastated right now. anger, shock and deep sadness.

aunt jackie has passed away. i genuinely cannot believe i’m typing this…at a loss for words and feel nothing but dread.

it has been a brutal last couple days as a hospital failed to treat a blood clot in her leg, which later moved to her lung.

she was the greatest aunt i ever could’ve asked for…one of my biggest fans and was so damn selfless just like my grandmom.

this loss will be felt for the rest of my life…please allow my family and i time to mourn. very difficult to process. 😔

never wanted to post this because it doesn’t feel real. so wrong. unfair. fuck that fucking hospital. i have so much frustration inside of me for the incompetent, careless fucking staff. she has left us way too soon. i will miss you always, aunt jackie.

i can’t believe i’ll never get to hear your laugh again, play another board game, have deep conversations or act alongside you in a video.

thank you for always believing in me and doing anything you could to help me fulfill my ‘dreams’.

this was our last picture together. i’m heartbroken you won’t get to see the movie that you and i poured everything into. this film will be dedicated to you.
