The worst thing we can do for our kids is make excuses for them when they fail. The second worst thing we can do for our kids is let them watch PJ Masks.
Don’t waste money on a promoted tweet with your training routine. Keep training but get your film together and send clips to schools and coaches. Bust your ass to do the right type of self-promotion. Don’t give money to a social media company that is only interested in your data.
So, on my primary Twitter account, I mute promotes tweets. I don’t block them, but I don’t want to see them anymore. After months of doing this, I’m starting to get some random dudes promoting their tweets. Today, I saw the promoted tweet of a high school athlete.
Look, athletes... don’t do this. It’s a waste of money. There are way better ways to promote yourself that are absolutely free. And don’t let a coach or anyone like that pay for it, either. Take it from someone who has done a lot of social media strategizing for folks.

Regardless, this is the best our team has done in school history. This is a solid foundation for a middle school program, and we’re hoping to see that translate to a solid high school foundation.
