What an incredible 3 days! I’ve loved being the Team Lead this year for @pintofscience & am so proud of what we have pulled off! 🧠🍺
The talks have been fantastic, we’ve had great feedback from our audiences & I really enjoyed hosting the events each night @STEM_ON_Notts#pint23
⬆️ Here's our final @pintofscience leaderboard for Day 3.
🧠 These guys knew their moon craters, echinoderms and celebrity doctors to get all the way to the top. Congrats, Kwizzers!
🙏🏼 Thank you to everyone for making #pint23 so much fun!

Thank you to all of our speakers over the three nights, the venues, everyone that has promoted the events. A big thank you and well done to our six @pintofscience teams without them this festival would not be possible. Finally thank you everyone who has attend an event.

Secondly, we've got Dr Tristan Dew, who has a talk on the molecules that give chocolate its flavour! Tristan has also brought sample bars of chocolate for tasting - hooray! Did you know that cocoa beans come from cacao pods and that these are harvested only twice a year?
Thanks to everyone for attending this year's Pint of Science in Notts

A huge shoutout to the Beautiful Minds team for organising the three nights.
You were a great team leader @Becky8Pope@pintofscience@STEM_ON_Notts
What a incredible night of visual and sensory illusions.
Goes to show just how Marvelous the Mind really is!
Thanks again to our wonderful speakers: Dr. Roger Newport, Dr. Chris Scholes and Prof. Danielle Ropar

Looking forward to presenting at the Pint of Science event in Nottingham this evening, at the Blind Rabbit, Weekday Cross. I'll be talking about University research into brewing beer more sustainability. I hear the event is a sell out....: https://t.co/UyB2ri1AEw
Last but certainly not least, to end the week, a fascinating talk by Dr. Sarah Thackray (Co-Founder of Atombeers)...so much to think about regarding sustainability, scalability and potentially getting cows tipsy #Pint23@STEM_ON_Notts

Finally, our last speaker of the night is Prof. Danielle Ropar on understanding how our brain interprets what we see.
How perception influences how well we draw and how perception differs in autistic individuals.

Are the middle squares on the sides of this Rubiks cube the same colour??
Dr Chris Scholes is talking visual illusions, with the brain taking into account shadow to try to improve our perception of what we see👀 #pint23
Finally, how could we have a Pint of Science festival without a talk about the science of brewing beer? To give such a talk, we have Prof David Cook, speaking on how beer brewing could be more sustainable! #Pint23
