Yes, I have become THAT person. 🤣 hoping to change the culture in our school library . My goal with taking on this position is to make the media center a place for EVERYONE. A special place where kids can go to love books, relax, know they are welcome, and tinker with STEM toys!

You never know the impact you have on anyone. 🥺 this was such a nice email to get from a former student, who if I did the math correctly is in 10th or 11th grade. 🥺 what a nice way to end teacher appreciation week.
I truly love what I do. 💜🍎👩🏻🏫 @pbcsd
Today we celebrated some of our FAVORITE people! The cafeteria staff! They’re so important and my kids LOVE THEM! We brought them flowers, a trophy and a poster to let them know they’re our heroes! 💜🍋 @LGESElem@pbcsd@PBCSchoolNews

IYKYK I made task cards connect 4 mI had the virtual kids against the in class kids. They still had to do ‘tasks’ and hold ‘emergency meetings’ to figure out the correct text structure and ‘vote’ where to place their crewmate.
One thing Covid has taught me is to learn to quickly adapt and change lessons so that they can still be fun and engaging. Corona has taken a lot from teaching(and everything in general) but these kids deserve a memorable year(done safely).
