Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, seeking Your guidance and wisdom for our children and grandchildren. We pray for the next generation. We ask that You bless them with strength and courage as they navigate the challenges of life. Instill in them a spirit of respect, not only for their elders but for all people, reflecting Your love in their actions.

Protect them and guard their hearts from evil.

Grant them the wisdom of Solomon, that they may discern right from wrong and make choices that honor You and uplift those around them. May they be surrounded by mentors who guide them in truth and righteousness, and may they always seek knowledge that leads to understanding.

Lord, help them to be humble in their hearts, to listen with open ears, and to learn with eager minds. May they cultivate kindness, empathy, and compassion, becoming beacons of Your light in a world that often wanders in darkness. Expose them to Your truth.

We pray that they grow in faith, strong in their commitment to You, and that they inspire others to walk in Your ways. Let their lives be testimonies of Your grace and love, shaping a brighter future for everyone.

The Federal Department of Education did not exist until 1979. Before that it was controlled by states, local counties, cities and parents were more involved.

Since 1979 education has declined in this country. We went from being near the top of developed countries to one of the worst performers.

Move education back to the states.
