We are thrilled to announce that Lorraine West, our Specialist Palliative Care Occupational Therapist at St Luke's, has been awarded a prestigious NIHR Health & Care Professionals (HCP) Research Internship. We are incredibly proud to see Lorraine championing innovation within our services and contributing to the growing evidence base for holistic, person-centred care. Congratulations!👏 #ImprovingOurCare #EmbracingNewThinking
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!🎄Yesterday, our Therapy Through Nature group participated in a wreath-making session with our Occupational Therapy team, all as part of our nature prescribing activities. How beautiful do they look? 🌿❤️
#twitches may have spotted early birds eyeing up prospective nesting sites in preparation for nesting activity around March. The @GHHospice Wellbeing through Nature group have been busy making nesting balls to give our feathered friends a hand @STH4PC#STH4PC#RSPB#SilverBirch
@STH4PC
21 January saw the inaugural STH4PC session of 2025 @ghhospicecare. Pinecone bird feeders were the chosen theme which tied in nicely with the RSPB #biggardenbirdwatch encouraging patients to take part and continue connecting with nature at home #wellbeing#Hertfordshire
@LorraineOTsheff@STH4PC Also took print outs and info around the in patient unit on Thursday before I left for all the patients and staff to participate 🦅 🦢 🐦 ❤️
Thank you to @StRichardsHosp for hosting the Social and Therapeutic Horticulture for Palliative Care interest group and providing such a beautiful venue for their 10th annual study day @STH4PC
@OT_UoG It was wonderful to be able to support such a fantastic group of students to experience #STH4PC first hand. Thank you for inviting @LorraineOTsheff
& @LisiPilgrem to spend the day with you 💙
We are so lucky to have @STH4PC support our Therapeutic Skills module, where our students learn a variety of creative, occupation focused interventions by doing them first hand. Another brilliant day at UoG, thank you so much to our fantastic instructors!
