How could Flag call Deadshot an antisocial freak when his only demands were for his daughter? And one thing was for him, and it was just to see his daughter.

Deadshot grew up in an abusive household. His beloved brother Ed tried to kill his alcoholic father and locked Deadshot out of the house so Deadshot wouldn’t meddle with his goal. Deadshot grabbed a shotgun, climbed a tree, and tried to shoot a knife out of Ed’s hand, but missed, and Ed didn’t survive the shot.

Over the years, Deadshot tried to perfect his aim by becoming a hired assassin, but he also became suicidal because of the guilt he felt for what happened to Ed. However, he stayed alive because he knew that his daughter Zoe would miss him if he was gone.

I don’t think this Deadshot is awful or anything, but I feel like he would have been MUCH more compelling if the writers had used this comic origin.
