St. Louis police commanders will receive raises of up to 22% under a plan approved by the Board of Police Commissioners.
The move meant to address pay disparities and retention concerns, but city leaders now have to scramble to find funding cover costs. https://t.co/SWi4ojzoay
The #SLMPD has now uncovered plans for several ‘teen takeovers’ on Saturday across the metropolitan area
Public safety is a shared responsibility. Parents, please check in with your kids. Participating in a takeover is unsafe.
#SLMPD is aware of social media posts promoting a juvenile gathering or ‘teen takeover’ this weekend.
Our officers have been monitoring this activity, have identified several individuals involved in organizing the event, and have developed operational plans to address any unlawful activity. Additional officers and resources will be deployed throughout the area.
We encourage parents and guardians to be aware of their children’s plans and to have conversations about making safe and responsible decisions
We know about it. We are prepared. And we will not allow a takeover of Forest Park. #STL
I want to thank my colleagues at the Board of Aldermen for working together and finding consensus to perfect Board Bill 22 today.
By allocating $255 million in Rams funds, we can begin to:
Rebuild neighborhoods on the Northside by directing over $120 million to residents impacted by last year's tornado.
Stabilize our most important public asset—our Water Division—with a $40 million capital infusion.
Make our city a more attractive place to live and work by investing $55 million in our downtown.
The Board of Aldermen will vote to finally pass the bill on Friday, June 26.
Storms are likely on Sunday, could be strong with some pockets of heavy rain too. So, for the Father's Day weekend dad's may want to shoot for golf or outdoor plans on Saturday which looks nice #FirstAlert4

Massive sinkhole has opened under the highway just north of Four Seasons Hotel & Horseshoe casino. @MoDOT_StLouis will probably have to shut down the highway because it’s very close to the footings

I think @SLMPD would make a lot of money ticketing and towing this truck that illegal parks in the drive lane a few times a week in front of this restaurant on Tucker and Chestnut. Wonder why they don’t
