Today, Wash U. announced $1 billion in financial aid for undergrad and grad students this semester. The University will not consider the applicant's financial situation for admission. This is great news for St. Louis area HS students. https://t.co/gx1n9TqThH
Join the LCO in celebrating October as National Women’s Small Business Month. Women business owners in the City, please stay tuned for info on upcoming forums & educational opportunities. I LOVE to shop & look forward to supporting these phenomenal women...ALL month long.
My friend & activist Mama Cat is moving on from St. Louis and taking her talents to Jacksonville, FL. She fed and nurtured the protesters & unhoused w/PotBangerz & made an amazing contribution. The LCO wishes her well and thanks her for the work she did and will do in Florida.
It's great to provide spaces for small businesses to get support and info on how to operate legally. This event at UMSL tonight from 4-7PM is in line with what we offer here at the LCO. If you’re a small business owner, we encourage you to take advantage of these moments.
The License Collector’s Office works to support and educate city business owners by hosting forums related to seniors, veterans, and youth as well as certification of daycare operators and more. Stay tuned for the return of these events in person by year’s end.
Congrats to our @STLCardinals for being the first team since 1951 to win 16 straight games. Cardinals Baseball is not only a good time it’s also a Home Run for downtown businesses which is a Grand Slam for the entire city. #GoCards#boysofsummer#NLbaseball#STLstrong
Twilight Thursday was a blast! I enjoyed Chuck Berry Jr. & his brother keeping their father’s legacy alive during a great night of music AND history. The St. Louis Sound exhibit at the History Museum (NOW until 1/22/2023) is a must see, especially for music lovers! #stlstrong

It was always a good time with the late Ida Woolfolk. So surreal looking at old pics remembering how life was before masked gatherings. Hopefully we’ll see the return to this sooner than later as the vaccinations go up and the cases go down. Continue to be safe everyone!
Looking forward to participating in the 12th Annual Sista Strut Parade on Saturday, October 2nd in Downtown STL! I’ve always supported this great event for Breast Cancer Awareness in the African American community.
Hope to see you there!
In the continued fight against this horrible virus and to get ahead of the impending flu season I want to encourage you and your loved ones to get vaccinated. I understand this is a personal choice but don't negate the fact that everyone's immune system is not the same.
Busy Saturday full of community events ahead for my LCO team. Find us at the Spectrum Community Assist Launch at Better Family Life from 8:30-1pm and the SLACO annual event at CRCP high school 9-2pm #stlstrong#communityfirst
#GoodMorning🌞 As we look back over our lives, we can join a “pity party” or shake off those things that drag us down. As you’re a positive light for others, there’s nothing against the rules that say we can’t share that glow of strength, too.
September brings one of my favorite events…the Forest Park Balloon Glow! Looking forward to great weather and beautiful colors to kick off my weekend. The glow is Friday and the balloon race is Saturday. Link to the event details on the City’s website in my bio.
Participated in a wonderful lunch event with amazing women presented by ALA Gateway, BAMSL and ILTA. I was able to share my journey as woman in law and politics as we discussed our connections, confidence builders, and career tips. Thanks for the invitation!
