Tonight it was joy to see Ruth Cooper, who was elected as church warden at the St Mary's APCM earlier this year, officially admitted to the office of Church by the Archdeacon.

It was good to have people from St Mary's cheering Ruth on, including some of the deputy wardens.

A reminder that tonight (Friday 5th June) St Mary’s is please to host the Handsworth Community Choir for their Summer Sing!
There will be new songs and singalongs performed by Handsworth Community Choir, ass well as performances by guests, ‘Blue Sky Brass’ and Martha Sutton.

The St Mary’s Lent Group starts tomorrow, the 25th February in the church at 10am. A discussion group using “Meeting God in John” by David Ford. The Group will meet on the 25th February and the 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th March at 10am.

Refreshments will be provided!
