#AP#ComputerScience Principles was a great intro course for some of my HS #Ss, but too easy for others.
Kiddos are coming in at different skill levels. We serve them better offering other courses to maximize that potential.
@MickeKring @scratch I like this concept so much more, ty! Admittedly used a wizard to defeat scratchy with lightning bolts... It got complicated...

Spend years honing search skills, finding tools to improve efficiency, learning better ways to accomplish the tasks we set out to do, and now work hard impart this knowledge to my students.
Students:
Where do you get your awesome gifs?
Anyone can learn #computerscience, but it's easy for Ts to forget how not-intuitive it is.
Our #coding Ss need regular encouragement & help on how to think about code.
I remind myself to have patience. Several of my Ss became interested in CS through help outside of class.
Ss: A teacher wants a website. Like, how hard is that?
Me: You've been doing way more complicated coding.
Ss: So, I could make the website?
Me: Yes!
Ss: Can you help if I run into problems?
Me: YES!!
