The Director of @ONDCP, Jim Carroll, came to Mandeville today for the ground breaking of Safe Haven. This facility is a candle of hope in the battle against mental illness and addiction.
Parish President Pat Brister had the honor to host The White House’s National Drug Policy Director James Carroll and Sen. John Kennedy yesterday to discuss the opioid epidemic, and how Parish President Brister‘s Safe Haven Behavioral Healthcare Campus will help in that fight!

The newly renovated, NAMI St. Tammany Day Center, was officially opened on Thursday, June 14, 2018 with a ribbon cutting. The ribbon cutting was followed by a media tour on June 15, 2018.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - St. Tammany hosted a Safe Haven Executive meeting at our new Day Center, which will offer free programs for those living with a mental illness.
