@Codie_Sanchez 105,000 cases sold at 12 bottles per case & $18 per bottle (current offer Laird Chardonnay) equals to about $22.7M/year.
Where do the other$77.3M come from?
@Shopify@harleyf Time to get the platform to work and be reliable.
Not sure of any other platform with so much downtime on such a regular basis.
Waiting for the day when merchants get together and claim their losses caused by an overhyped but under developed tool.
We hear that many startups are in the market for a new banking stack.
Fortunately, you can join a community of 80K+ startups by applying for a Mercury account in about 10 mins: https://t.co/rRhvaeZKu3
(We'll even send you some tea if you open an account in the next week)
@allenwalton@mercury is a dream.
Great customer service.
Consistently improving their UX and services. And as mentioned free international wires.
Highly recommended.
@deadcoder0904 @jspujji@moizali@GrowthAssistant@unbloat Got it. Good point.
Challenge in some Geos: Not everyone is motivated to work as much as one would hope. Regardless of skill level.
So it’s important to take the whole equation into consideration, not just prices/cost.
Seen Shepherd. Seems to offer good services in the PH.
@brianthefitpro Standard offer: extract buyers vs non-buyers. Doing it because it produces Leads = buyers vs random Optins.
But full funnel what’s the AOV?
Plus assuming backend offers?
Example:
$500 AOV ($1 + $97 + $399 + $2499 offers)
2000 total for 2CC
84 / month
Why not scale faster?
@jspujji@moizali@GrowthAssistant@unbloat @get Got it. My apologies, totally confused that.
Great to hear it’s doing well!
Sifting, vetting, onboarding, etc would be a whole Thread: efficiency, systems & processes.
But any offers that finds buyers = validated by market & personal opinions don’t matter (including my own).
@deadcoder0904 @jspujji@moizali@GrowthAssistant@unbloat I thought he shared that brand wasn’t doing much > surprised to see 5 team members.
Update: Brand 2.0 apparently doing well = makes much more sense.
Wouldn’t call the PH 3rd world country 😁 But thriving & great talent. Highly motivated and skilled.
Thanks for the feedback 🙏
@allenwalton The reality of todays banking environment 🤷♂️
How about @getclearco or @mercury & Co.
Amazing offers, fast customer service, and inventory based financing options like from @getclearco approved in a day (if applicable).
Recommend them to everyone. Top teams, top offers, top CX
@thePhilRivers While 1. and 2. aren’t applicable in 2022 anymore as much as they were in 2012 this one is a key differentiator in todays environment.
Own an audience.
Build a community.
Brands thrive if they have a fan base. No matter the offer (think MrBeast Burger = offer from a YouTuber)
@danmurrayserter Love this one. The more you get proven wrong the better your overall performance.
So many team members avoid testing new hypothesis because they always want to be right (to not look bad).
Hypothesis
Test
Data
Decide
Proven wrong, if it’s based on data = best way to improve.
@daviefogarty They’re in one of the very few industries that work on Pinterest.
Plus hold majority stake of audience’s attention for its category.
And it’s a product that finds its way into boards before purchases (long sales cycle).
Great product. Great business. Not much about Pinterest.
@jspujji@moizali@GrowthAssistant@unbloat Isn’t that the brand that bombed? Remember long thread where you outlined how everything you did led to nearly $0 revenue.
Not big fan of platforms charging companies for hiring & talent for placement.
Offshore talent = high demand
Find your position without paying 3rd parties.
@moizali@stripe When was that? 2017?
Good luck eCom owners doing less than 8 fig/yr (majority of market) getting fees reduced.
Surprised how many advice to renegotiate fees. Companies laying off FTEs in anticipation of further revenue decreases won’t cut into income producing framework (Fees).
@LitzaAlAbdullah@MouyyadA@aymanalabdul@AppSumo It’s about showing manners & respect.
I’m not his or anyone else’s “Bro”. Nobody I know would use it in a board meeting or any other conversation on a professional level.
But that’s the issue. Instead of having a productive discussion it went > ego, disrespectful comments, etc
Long ago, a mentor told me to put out flyers to get leads.
So I put out 300…
*1 month later*
Me: No leads 😭
Him: What was your test size?
Me: 300
Him: *laughs* We don’t even test with < 5000, then we scale to 5000/day.
My Lesson:
What it takes > What you think it takes.
@ashvinmelwani One of our best converting presell landers shows 8 options of a product & converts at 6.3% to Purchases in the last 12 months combined.
Options do not hurt conversion rates.
If it’s the same product.
Options lead to better CX & better Performance because they catch a wider net
