"I have no hope and trust in Kerala Police but will fight for my father's justice even if it costs my life" - Victim Jayabalakrishnan's daughter 💔

Another shocking allegation said by Victim's daughter that Jayabalakrishnan and his family had previously approached the police station to complain about damage to his eatery. His daughter and relatives have alleged that police personnel behaved improperly towards them and that her father was treated disrespectfully when he sought help. A citizen approaching a police station with a genuine complaint should be treated with dignity, regardless of financial status, occupation or social influence.

The current case that stems from Jayabalakrishnan, a 55-year-old roadside eatery owner from was killed in a road accident at Cheranalloor in Kochi when a Mercedes-Benz allegedly driven by a 17-year-old boy, son of District Court Judge who crashed his vehicle. Now that the accused minor was released on station bail earlier is again granted bail from Juvenile Justice Board.

The family's allegations about the earlier complaint now add another painful dimension to its demand for accountability. They want answers not only about the fatal crash but also about how their father was treated when he sought police assistance during his lifetime.

Meet Reno Francis Xavier T, District Court Judge and father of 17 year old minor who kil!ed a 55 year old man. The minor who was earlier out on station bail is also granted bail from Juvenile Justice Board 🧐

Source : The Hindu

The death of 55-year-old Jayabalakrishnan in a fatal Mercedes-Benz accident in Cheranalloor, Kochi, has triggered widespread public outrage after the 17-year-old accused, the son of a serving judge, was granted bail by the Juvenile Justice Board following his earlier release on station bail.

Media reports identify the teenager's father as Reno Francis Xavier T, an Additional District Judge of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) at Irinjalakuda in Thrissur district of Kerala. Judge of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal himself is allowing his minor son to drive Mercedes and kil! the common people on road.

Ultimately, Jayabalakrishnan's death should not be reduced to another headline about a luxury car and a bail order. The most important questions are whether the circumstances of his death will be fully investigated, whether any person found legally responsible will face appropriate consequences, and whether his family will receive justice.

"They have normalised r@pes and murders by minors already. These underaged teenagers can do any crimes in this country." - Victim Jayabalakrishnan's daughter 😢

The daughter of the deceased Jayabalakrishnan, has expressed deep anguish over the decision, questioning what she sees as a disturbing trend in which serious crimes allegedly committed by minors are being treated too leniently. Her words highlight a larger public concern, Does being underage mean that a person should escape meaningful accountability for a serious offence?

While the law recognises that children and adults must be treated differently in criminal proceedings, the victim's family is demanding that the seriousness of the incident and the loss they have suffered should not be overlooked. The teenager who killed Jayabalakrishnan was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board and granted bail again.

Juvenile protection and accountability need not be opposing principles. Protecting a minor's legal rights must go hand in hand with a thorough investigation and a lawful response to the death of an innocent road user.

"We waited for 11 hours from 4am till 3pm to receive our Father's body from mortuary after completing 100s of procedures of Kerala Police. Without any procedure, the accused went on bail even before we got to see our father's dead body" - Victim Jayabalakrishnan's children 😭

The recent Mercedes-Benz accident in Kochi has sparked public outrage after the children of victim Jayabalakrishnan questioned the apparent difference between the procedures their family had to endure and the speed with which the 17-year-old accused was released on station bail.

The children of Jayabalakrishnan started their protest late evening yesterday even before their father's dead body haven't yet finished burning, before the police station at Cheranalloor. Jayabalakrishnan's death is not merely a story about a damaged luxury car or a controversial bail decision. It is the loss of a working father whose family now has to face life without him.

Their demand is ultimately for a fair investigation, accountability under the law and assurance that the circumstances of their father's death will not be overlooked.

Judge's 17 year old son granted bail 😰 after crashing his Mercedes Benz car that kil!ed a scooterist ⚠️

Police registered a case under sections 281 and 106(1) of BNS, relating to rash driving. The teenager was taken into custody and later released on station bail under applicable juvenile justice procedure. The release has raised questions among the victim's relatives, who are demanding accountability and a thorough investigation.

The teenager claimed that heavy rain and waterlogging reduced visibility, causing the accident. However, station bail does not mean that the accused has been declared innocent or that the investigation has ended.

The death of Jayabalakrishnan has left his family grieving and demanding answers. The central issues are whether the teenager was legally entitled to drive, what caused the collision, and whether every aspect of the case is being investigated fairly.

Kochi Fatal Benz Accident: Victim's family questions over protection of Judge's minor son's identity 😨

"I took a photo of the boy and they(Kerala Police) asked me to delete it immediately orelse a case will be registered against me" - Victim's Nephew. The identity of Judge is also unknown as of now.

The death of a scooterist in a road accident at Cheranalloor, Kochi, has triggered serious questions about police transparency, accountability and whether the law is being applied equally to everyone, regardless of their family background. The victim’s relatives have reportedly questioned the way the police handled the incident. According to their allegations, the identity of the minor accused was being protected, and they expressed concern about whether the accused's judicial family background could influence the investigation.

However, there is an important legal distinction: the identity of a person under 18 who is accused of an offence is protected under Section 74 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015. This restriction generally prohibits publishing identifying details of a child in conflict with the law. Therefore, withholding the teenager’s name or photograph is not, by itself, evidence of favouritism or an attempt to shield the accused.

The key question is whether the police are following the law while conducting a fair, thorough and impartial investigation. The victim’s relatives have also alleged that the judge father spoke to them in an intimidating and dismissive manner when they questioned the circumstances of the accident.

Another fatal luxury car crash that killed a scooterist in Kerala by a 17 year old, son of District Judge ⚠️

Victim's Niece was told,
"Don't teach me law, you have no rights to question me" - Minor's father(additional district judge)

"Don't overreact and get emotionally driven, he is just a 17 year old kid" - Kerala Police

The accident occurred at around 2:20 AM to 3:00 AM at Cheranalloor in Kochi. A speeding luxury Mercedes-Benz car, registered under the name of the additional judge, rammed into a scooter from behind. The scooter rider, 55-year-old Jayabalakrishnan of Manjali, was killed. He was a local street vendor returning home after closing his wayside eatery (thattukada) near a temple in Chittoor.

The 17-year-old minor, who does not possess a driving license, reportedly took the car out for a night drive. He was speeding at 100km/hr while the crash occured as per reports. The victim's niece JAYALAKSHMI claims that the accused was not shown to them at the police station and Kerala police insisted them to not get emotionally driven by this incident as if this isn't a big loss at all. The father of the 17 year old accused who is a district court judge spoke rudely at the police station asking them not to teach him law as per Jayalakshmi's claim.

The central issue is the loss of a human life. Jayabalakrishnan's family has suffered an irreversible loss, and the circumstances surrounding his death must be investigated thoroughly. The victim and his family deserve justice, while the investigation and any subsequent legal proceedings must establish responsibility on the basis of evidence rather than influence, status or public speculation.

Victim solidarity by words, business promotion by the end. Seriously? 🤬

Meet Nooha Sajeev's sister in law! She posted a video recently on her IG account where she begins by stating that she stands with the victims of the tragic accident. However, the video reportedly ends with a promotion for the latest collection of IHA DESIGNS, a family business owned by Nooha Sajeev.

For people grieving the loss of loved ones, such a transition can come across as insensitive, particularly while public attention remains focused on accountability and justice. If someone chooses to publicly express solidarity with them, audiences may reasonably expect that message to remain focused on the victims rather than transition into advertising. A tragedy is not a marketing opportunity!

Nooha Sajeev haven't reported to police yet to record her statement, as Suhail Sajeev and other accused file fresh bail plea 🗣️

The delay in recording Nooha Sajeev’s statement has raised questions about the progress of the investigation. The case stems from the October 11, 2026, Mini Cooper crash near Nedumbassery, close to Cochin International Airport, which claimed the lives of three young people: Gopika, Devika and Iyas. The main accused Suhail Sajeev has reportedly been driving at a speed of 150km/hr as per the clear evidence.

Following the rejection of their initial bail applications, the accused have approached the Ernakulam Sessions Court seeking bail. The case has attracted widespread public attention, with demands for a transparent investigation and equal treatment under the law. The families of the three victims deserve answers, a thorough investigation and a fair judicial process.

Partially eaten foods found at newly opened Lulu Hypermarket in Chennai, where customers allegedly consumed food items without paying 🤦🏻‍♂️

According to the allegation, some customers opened food packages, consumed the product and returned the remaining items to the racks instead of paying at the billing counter. Such behaviour would raise serious concerns about customer responsibility, food hygiene and the potential risk to other shoppers who might unknowingly purchase tampered or partially consumed products.

Supermarkets depend on customers following basic rules of conduct and respecting the products they handle. Opening packaged food without paying, where payment is required before consumption can create financial losses for the retailer. Returning opened or partially consumed food to the shelves can also compromise hygiene and product safety, particularly if the items are not immediately identified and removed by staff.

The incident also highlights the importance of proper monitoring inside retail stores. Staff should promptly remove damaged or opened packages, inspect suspicious products and take appropriate action when misconduct is established.

Public places require basic civic sense and responsibility. If the allegations are confirmed, such behaviour deserves appropriate action. Customers should respect retail establishments, and food safety must never be compromised.

"Don't spare this boy, he is a curse to the society. His arrogant mother must be punished." 🗣️

Major Ravi, retired army officer and filmmaker raises serious questions about accountability, the treatment of accused and importance for justice. He says, "I can see cruelty in his eyes"and expresses that the accused and family are a real curse to this society. He also conveys that the accused Suhail didn't even care about the victims who laid down after the fatal crash or had no concern for their lives.

Major Ravi expressed that his mother Nooha Sajeev must be punished severely for raising such a criminal minded child and providing all the luxury to show off before the society. Ravi also insists to verify the account details and GST details of her mother Nooha Sajeev's business firm because he says, these rich business people doesn't pay a single penny of tax. He requested the government to make the right move in finding justice for the victims.

Ultimately, the most important concern is that the three young lives lost in this tragedy are not forgotten, that their families receive justice and support, and that the investigation and court proceedings establish the facts fairly.

"They gifted him a 70 lakh worth car, not to show love for their son, rather to show they are filthy rich 🤑"

K.B Ganesh Kumar, Former Transport Minister of Kerala expresses extreme concern over parenting of Suhail Sajeev who made the fatal car crash that took 3 lives. He said, the parents of Suhail didn't raise him as a good human being and the 19 year old doesn't have a child's mind but a brutal mind. He also conveys that he doesn't deserve any mercy from society as well as from court.

Therefore, parental love should not be measured by expensive gifts, luxury cars or unconditional defence of a child's behaviour. True care also involves teaching discipline, empathy, respect for other people's lives and responsibility for one's actions.

Nooha Sajeev expresses concern over her son Suhail's future 🗣️

In a video statement, Nooha Sajeev, mother of accused Suhail Sajeev expressed condolences to the families of the three young people who died in the Nedumbassery Mini Cooper accident. She acknowledged the pain of parents who lose their children and said she could not imagine the depth of their grief.

She said the case should proceed according to law and that the investigation should be honest. She also openly admitted that she was worried about what would happen to her son. However, this is where the distinction between a mother's emotional suffering and the legal responsibility of an accused person becomes important.

The priority must remain justice for the victims, a fair investigation and equal application of the law. No statement can undo the tragedy, but a transparent process can help ensure that the families receive answers and that responsibility is determined fairly.

Shreyas ,Sanju ,Ishan among top run scorers for the series against West Indies 🏏

Shreyas Iyer - 181 runs at 205.68 SR
Sanju Samson - 168 runs at 195.34 SR
Ishan Kishan - 153 runs at 191.25 SR

Sanju Samson delivers consistent performance and still gets labelled as inconsistent simply because people refuse to judge him by the same standards as others. When he scores runs, people dismiss his contributions as ordinary and when he fails, his dismissal becomes evidence that he can't be trusted.

Sanju Samson does not need sympathy rather he needs the same fair and consistent standards that every other Indian cricketer deserves. If his performances are good enough, acknowledge them. If they fall short, criticise them with evidence. But do not keep calling a player inconsistent without examining the numbers that tell the complete story.

Court rejects bail plea of Suhail Sajeev and 3 co-accused 🚨

Angamaly Judicial First Class Magistrate Court has rejected the bail applications of Suhail Sajeev (first accused), Ninav, Joel and Ameer. The prosecution strongly opposed bail citing that it will affect the ongoing investigation. Also the arguments putforth were the accused is influencial and financially strong, thereby shouldn't be granted bail.

The defense side claimed that the eye witness brought was non-existent and thereby the accused was taken into custody without any evidence. The court didn't consider any of the claims and rejected the bail application.

[Deepu @deepu_drops]

Suhail has caused multiple accidents before, Kerala Police covered them up without registering a case 🚨

According to news reports, the accused Suhail Sajeev who made a fatal Mini Cooper crash killing 3 students had previously involved in a crash on November 2025 breaking through a house wall. This is not just about road safety and breaking a residential property, but also might have potentially injured people in and around the building or even the pedestrians.

Do you know what the Kerala police who reached the scene that day did? They returned without registering a case. Reports say that it's because of an intervene from a Political leadership in Alappuzha. During that period of crash, the accused Suhail was just 18 years old. Now it has been 1 year since the next accident that took 3 lives in October 2025. He had caused multiple accidents even before the age of 18, as per reports. If he was subjected to proper legal proceedings in such accidents happened back then, the Nedumbassery crash would not be happening.

Kumar Kushagra over Sanju Samson in ODIs??? Selection based on merit is a joke in Indian Cricket 🤫

This is not merely about Kumar Kushagra getting an opportunity. He deserves the chance to prove himself. The real question is why Sanju Samson was not considered for the opportunity, particularly given his previous ODI century and the experience he has accumulated. Sanju Samson has spent years trying to establish himself as a regular member of the Indian team.

But for now as long as Shubman Gill is captain of Team India, he will keep on picking players from Gujarat Titans and you won't see Sanju Samson playing in any other formats rather than T20Is ever. Period!

5 times the amount of alcohol found in Suhail's body as per scientific examination report 😰

Suhail Sajeev, the accused behind the deaths of 3 students had consumed 5 times the permitted alcohol limit and spent around ₹15,000 at 3 different bar hotels before the deadly cash. The excise department had already registered a case against him for consuming alcohol who is below 23 years old. The bar license of the hotels will also be suspended by excise.
