D.C.'s clean building standard is a groundbreaking program to tackle pollution from buildings, which are responsible for >70% of D.C.’s climate pollution. DMV residents deserve safe & healthy homes. @BeyondGasDC

@elonmusk This is inaccurate. State election law already contains voter ID requirements in CA and those still apply. This just applied to a weird extra law that one town passed. Calm down, get it right, always double check what Elon says before you believe it (love you buddy, but yeah)
@DC_PSC must reject @washingtongas's $215M request to waste more money on methane gas pipelines. It’s time for real solutions—clean, affordable, and healthy energy for all DC residents. #BeyondGas
Wash Gas wants to charge $672 million to ratepayers to tear up pipes in the city - in direct conflict w/ DC's goals to electrify our grid. I sent a letter w/ 9 of my colleagues opposing "PROJECTPipes." Repairing leaks is a lot cheaper, faster, and more effective for safety. 1/3
@MurielBowser should follow thru on her #COP28 climate commitments & make @DCDGS comply with DC law. The massive new gas-fired building project is illegal and locks in emissions that she committed to end https://t.co/1AGPu67ATS #electrifyeverything#BeyondGasDC
Hi all, a good quick chance to actually push climate policy forward. DC's council is pushing BIG change, but we need to push related agencies: https://t.co/q76TuI7iV0
@NickMeansWell Love all these "just tell them about birth control" responses from people who I'm guessing also oppose sex ed - which would tell them about birth control - in schools
@DCGreenBank@MiCasaIncDC @InclusiveProsp @DOEE_DC@MayorBowser@marycheh@TommyWells@DCDHCD@LISC_DC@CM_McDuffie A quality affordable-housing project, but where's the "green"? Solar on the roof is nowhere near enough. Will the building rely on gas for heating and cooking? That goes against net-zero emissions by 2050. Will the building be wired for vehicle charging? For heat and cooking?
