@rwomchechen One day the disciples asked Jesus to call fire to consume those who had refused to receive Him in theit village. Jesus rebuked them for wanting to destroy people.
Luke 9:56 (KJV) For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.
@Nameles83572562@rwomchechen Actually, the verse is about false prophets. That you’ll recognise false prophets by their actions(fruits). We shall know the fake pastors by their actions which don’t align with Jesus’ teachings.
@Jonekyoma Jesus Himself warned about the coming of false prophets who will deceive God's people with even "miracles". He told us to be on our guard and not follow blindly. But many people continue to fall prey to these fake pastor for lack of wisdom, knowledge and discernment, .
@AbahoJon@NickTTaria Fake deceitful pastors are not men of God but servants of satan, the father of lies. And they’ll perish with their father, satan if they dont repent and stop deceiving God’s people.
I like where this spiritual battle is heading to. And looks like it’s not about to stop. I also love the fact that there are pastors who are coming out clean to go against the fraudulent behavior these fake pastors are doing. Taking advantage of desperate and poor people psychologically to take away from them. This is the time to call them out and we are not stopping.
@byakutaga_99923 Alimba! in Mark 7:9-13, Jesus called out the Pharisees on this exact issue for stopping people from helping their parents with corban(like tithe). He reminded them that God's law is to honor your father and mother and that includes helping them.
@Turya_osborn@FrankGashumba The bible tells everyone to judge between false and true prophets and not to believe them blindly because some are not from God. God's final judgement does not stop you from telling a false prophet from true prophet because its for your own good.
