Raheem Sterling was on his way to pick up his takeaway when he noticed two homeless women outside the restaurant.

Instead of walking past, he asked the vendor to prepare two extra meals for them.

He explained that he preferred to offer them food rather than money, as he didn’t want it to be used for drugs or alcohol.

Sterling kept a low profile. The vendor later said he had never met someone so humble.
