The regime promised us that they would self reflect, but we're seeing the same shit repeating. Last season they didn't pull the trigger on a CB and it cost us heavily on the pitch.

Now they've gone and done it again. Xabi wanted a midfielder, but instead of backing him, they took one away and left him with zero replacement lined up. Choosing the pound note over winning and leaving the squad short will cost us, and I don't give a shit if it's only one game a week. This was a horrible decision.

Transfers are not always linear as we have seen this window and timing doesn’t always work when you need it to, however.. the 14/15 season should be the standard to follow every summer if possible. Business done early, players got familiar with the tactics, the cohesion was built that pre season. As a result Chelsea fans could tell from our first game that season we were gonna win the league. That type of preparation should be aspired to every summer.
