Golfer of the Week…again!!‼️⛳️

Congratulations to junior Sydney Jackson who earned her second collegiate win of the fall, shooting 77-76 (153, +11) to finish two strokes ahead of the runner-up. She led the field in pars (23) and paced her team on par 3s (+1), par 4s (+8), and par 5s (+2). Her performance was key in helping her team claim the overall tournament title! 👏🏼🏴‍☠️

Women’s Golf closed out the fall season in style with a tournament win, shooting team rounds of 319 & 311! 👏🏼🏴‍☠️

‼️ Junior Sydney Jackson led the way, claiming her second individual title of the season!
✨ Freshman Emily York secures 3rd place (79,79) and fellow freshman Anna Apisarnthanarax finished in 5th place (80,79)!

Pirates take the title in Abilene! 🏆⛳️

Our Men’s Golf team dominated the Abilene Intercollegiate with team rounds of 291 & 287 to claim Tournament Champions! Three Pirates finished in the top 5:
🥇Ricky Mitchell - Individual Champion
🥈Ethan Bridges - 2nd Place
🏅Sam McClure - 5th Place

Congratulations to senior Ethan Bridges for being named SAA Golfer of the Week!

Bridges led the charge for the team with an outstanding performance, finishing 2nd individually out of 120 players. He fired back-to-back round of 68 (-3) followed by a steady even-par 71 to post a three-round total of 207 (-6). Over the tournament, he collected 34 pars and 13 birdies, showcasing both steadiness and scoring ability. Bridges also led the entire tournament field in par 3 scoring, playing them at an impressive -5 average (2.67). His consistent play and clutch performance helped power the team to a top-four finish in a competitive field.‼️🏴‍☠️🤩

The women’s golf team wrapped up play at the Golfweek October Classic with a 15th place finish out of 24 teams, posting rounds of 313, 314, and 328 for a tournament total of 955. The Pirates were led by freshman Anna Apisarnthanarax, who turned in a strong performance with rounds of 77, 76, and 79 in her debut at the event!⛳️🏴‍☠️

FIRST ONE FOR SYD!👏🏼🏴‍☠️

Congratulations to Sydney Jackson who delivered a standout performance at the Legends Cup capturing the individual title with back-to-back rounds of 77 for a winning total of 154 (+10). Jackson showcased impressive consistency, playing the par 3s at even par, averaging 4.40 (+8) on the par 4's, and posting a 5.25 (+2) mark on par 5's. Her steady play included 20 pars and three birdies across the tournament, leading the field and securing a well-deserved first place finish!

Ryleigh Erickson has been named SCAC Women’s Golfer of Week! 🏴‍☠️ ⛳️

Ryleigh finished in solo sixth place at the Jekyll Island Collegiate in field that held six Top 25 teams, firing rounds of 76, 76, and 77.

This marks the third time in Erickson has received Golfer of the Week!
