6 monthly check in on the log model for #btc the growth of wallets is FAR behind the original prediction. At current levels, we are nowhere near our $1m mark and the next top price is only $125k :/
Prices may be determined by a few accounts, but they are sustained by users.
@nikbrn@benonwine@elonmusk With context that there has never been such a law in Britain for slavery. Hence police didn't enforce if the slave walked off. USA had 5m slaves in 1870 due to breeding programme's. Something unique to USA because the cost of buying was top expensive. Largest number as Brazil.
@SeanPlunket Weird. We know they do. MOH says they do. Pfizer says they do. I was an analyst on the covid response team, my team know they do. What's debatable is the numbers. Not IF. I get it, it was meant to be a joke. Haha.
@JenniferArneri1 @aotearoa_ben @NatlClownshow Do you know what you just said? I said math is art and that I don't expect others to agree. You then said words are art. Sure, but the second point also stands.
@HTBurden @AladdinsMarket @c_plushie@lawrie_dr Haven't looked tbh. The vaccine, covid, the lot of it. Is in my rear view mirror. I spent three years in that government. No money could make me go back to that π covid is a cold. The vaccine is worthless. Time to move on.
@HTBurden @AladdinsMarket @c_plushie@lawrie_dr To be fair Harry, the data might be accurate. Just without context, it's doesn't mean anything. At the same time, the data hasn't been released, so we don't know either way. Last time I worked with healths data... Well. It was interesting.
@LLOYANTOBILL @jo_britchik@Jill06458741@caffeineworship The original plan of smoothing the curve out and lowering the impact on our hospitals was a good one. Backed by the data. We just went a little too far. It wasn't the data or the scenarios that drove this approach. Never quite sure why our strategy changed, I left shortly after.
@LLOYANTOBILL @jo_britchik@Jill06458741@caffeineworship Vs influenza (why am I putting effort in I don't know). Which is roughly 800 a year or if we continued it'll have been 4000 deaths from influenza in the same period, killing 0.42% of people. Use the ministry data, don't listen to uneducated media journalists.
@LLOYANTOBILL @jo_britchik@Jill06458741@caffeineworship We have a total of 3549 attributed deaths to sars-cov2 in total. Most of these were alpha (~1900 in the first year). This is a 0.14% death rate. You can argue about if you exclude the contribution figure of 1334, that's up to you. It's 0.08% if you do. https://t.co/CzxhtKGLPc
@Jill06458741@caffeineworship I'm not going to go to the effort, as it's social media. As someone who did the analysis for MOH. This is factual. You can to to their website and cross reference the influenza stats from the period before.
