Performing subset simulations on problems with non-Gaussian uncertainties can be difficult. We just made it a little easier :-)

I've been waiting to announce this because the originally published version was an unreadable mess, but after several iterations with the publisher, our new paper on our #UQpy software is now available in the Journal of Computational Science. https://t.co/63xEaeE2y0
@CrisMoen@PlutoJL I did this a couple years ago...live presented UQpy at a conference and had my Jupyter kernel crash. Fortunately I knew what was going on and was able to restart and get it going. But live running always runs the risk of epic fail!
To my knowledge, this is the first time active machine learning has been used to control large-scale boundary layer wind tunnel (BLWT) experiments. Super exciting! Great collaboration with Kurt Gurley and the team from the University of Florida BLWT funded by @NSF. @JHUCaSE
Prof. Lauren Gardner is on TIME's 2020 list of the 100 most influential people! Congrats! Check it out: https://t.co/RQWXkxRRKb

In just the past week, American colleges and universities have recorded more than 36,000 additional coronavirus cases, bringing the total to 88,000 since the pandemic began. @ShawnHubler @anemonanyc https://t.co/cljwQ6PYNN
@deniswirtz Reviews aside, why should I not receive a royalty every time they sell MY article? We talk about how musicians get screwed by record labels. At least they get pennies in royalties. We don’t even get that. Seems we’re all suckers to these companies
@DNSidiropoulos@deniswirtz Can you help me understand why Hopkins doesn’t just run it’s own journals, alone or in collaboration with other universities?
Proofs in for our new paper in Journal of Computational Science. What a disaster! Equations changed....Text running off the margins....I hate this stage of the process.
