EMA is a weekly £30 grant designed to support 16 to 18-year-olds in Wales, from low incomes households, with further education costs.

But despite spiralling increases to the cost of learning, it hasn’t increased since 2004.

EMA has been stuck at just £30 for longer than any of the college and sixth form students who rely on it have been alive!

@NusWales is calling on the Welsh Government to increase the grant to reflect the cost of learning today.
