Suspects are also using a spoofed number that may resemble a police department so be cautious. If you feel something is not right, contact SUU Police or your local law enforcement agency for help.

Our office wanted to make you aware of the recent rise in scams where the suspects impersonate an officer and create a fictitious situation by asking for personal information and or money. No officer will ever ask you for money or personal information.

1. Make sure you check your tires to assure they will be able to handle snow on the road.
2. Clean your vehicles' windows so you have good visibility.
3. Plan for extra travel time when you leave.
If you have any questions or are involved in an accident call 911 for assistance.
