BadAss Mid Season Coaches Checkpoints:

1) Pad Level…Helmet under helmet with eyes up wins most battles
2) 6 second practice and game rules…Stay on block after contact for 6 seconds ( especially in practice drills against scouts and against “air”…Bad habits are formed and lazy coaches ignore it and even don’t see it
3) First punch wins most fights…Pass Pro… run punch…in space receiver blocks…RB finishing runs…Get the first punch
4) See everything you hit with your eyes…Eyes down/ head down you lose
5) Who are we? By now it’s morphed…Figure it out and coach to who you are and work to who you want to be
6) Find the “easy” every week…Every defense will give you something if you look hard enough
7) Create your “easy” with formations to get an advantage “Big Sets can give you one on one or 2 on 1 advantage u seek
8) Praise the unpraised ( look hard to find something to compliment the players, coaches, parents, custodians, who never receive praise
9) Seek out and find daily joy…A life worth living is a life worth enjoying
10) Do something good today for another human who could never repay you as long as they live…Do it not for recognition but for the simple reason that that is what makes our lives have value
