CS Prof Barbara Anthony presented a paper this month at the International Conference on Mathematical Optimization Theory and Operations Research in Irkutsk-Baikal, Russia!

Assistant Professor of Mathematics John Ross @JohnRossMath worked with two students on math research this summer! Together, the team solved an isoperimetric-style on how to optimally arrange four regions along a number line imbued with a prescribed density.

SCOPE 2021 students Anna Wicker and Maxx Batterton worked with Associate Professor of Comp Sci Dr. Schrum to use Quality Diversity algorithms to discover interesting art and video game levels by exploring new ways to search for and categorize novel artifacts.
