Love. What a great description of Jesus. That's who He is. We need to learn to be love just like Him. Not just to the people we like, but also to those who hurt us or are different than us.

Heard this quote and really like it... "Serving isn't something we want FROM (people), it is something we want FOR them." We are so blessed to serve our community.

This week, as we look toward Easter Sunday, remember that there is no greater place to find hope than in Jesus. What appeared to be the most desperate of times turned out to be exactly what we ALL needed. God keeps His promises. We can trust Him no matter what.
Our playground will be closed Monday (3/18) and Tuesday (3/19) for a convention. Sorry for any inconvenience. We look forward to seeing you back on Wednesday!
Every person is an original reflection of God in how they love, care for others, imagine, create, and solve problems. Jesus lived this out in the way He loved all people. We can reflect this in the way we live out how God created us. #kidmin@252Basics
God’s compassion for the people He created led to the greatest act of love the world has ever seen. God sent His only Son to make us right with Him. We reflect that compassion when we care about others and show them how much God loves them.
Yesterday, we were in the book of Luke. We heard about four men who cooperated to help a paralyzed man meet Jesus. What was so amazing about this story? Jesus didn't just heal the physical needs of the man. Because of the man's faith, Jesus also forgave him of his sins!
Cooperation is working together to do more than you can do alone. Yesterday we heard from Exodus 17:8 the story of Joshua winning the battle over the Amalekites. With help from Moses, Aaron, Hur and most of all God, Joshua won the battle.
At dinner tonight, ask: When it comes to group projects at school, are you the group member who does most of the work, or do you let someone else carry the load?

At bedtime, read Philippians 4:11-13. Pray for each other, that God would help you to be happy with what you have instead of spending lots of time and energy worrying about getting more.
