Saloon cushions, new & old.

The old ones aren't actually that old, but poor quality fabric plus super-heavy plywood backs (why???) mean they have to be re-done the right way.

Which means learning the right way, one at a time. We're getting there.

While K replaces the big boat's cushions with new ones made of the proper materials, M is attempting to repair the little boat's dry rot.

Expired flares sometimes misfire in spectacularly destructive ways, or sometimes fizzle. Hard to predict. Better to just replace them.

@americascup The #AC37 is a damned impressive class. Crew, engineering, construction, tactics.... When you see them go, it's hard to believe there isn't a hidden jet engine under that transom.
